Scale Inhibitor is a chemical agent used in industrial water treatment systems, commonly applied in reverse osmosis (RO) and industrial circulating cooling water systems. Subject to product formulation and water quality, it interferes with crystal growth and helps disperse particles, with complexation occurring where applicable. It reduces the risk of scale formation from calcium, magnesium and other sparingly soluble inorganic salts on membrane elements, pipelines and heat exchangers. Yutai Environmental Technology can help evaluate suitable product specifications and dosing programmes based on the customer's inlet water quality, equipment operating conditions and treatment targets. Actual scale inhibition performance and dosage must be confirmed by water quality analysis, system operating parameters and site operating conditions. A scale inhibitor cannot replace essential pre-treatment and proper system operational control.
